Mojan connects freelance beauty professionals with clients across the UK. We provide tools to discover, book, and review services, as well as manage appointments and communication — all in one place.
2. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- All information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Beautician Responsibilities
- Beauticians must ensure they have the right to offer services listed and comply with all relevant laws and health/safety regulations.
- You agree to provide services in a professional and timely manner.
- You set your own pricing, availability, and cancellation policy.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Clients agree to attend appointments on time and respect beautician policies.
- Any abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate behaviour may result in account suspension or removal.
5. Payments and Fees
- Beauticians are paid directly through the platform via Stripe/PayPal
- All prices displayed include VAT where applicable.
- You agree not to circumvent the platform by arranging off-platform payments or bookings.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation policies are set by each beautician and displayed on their profile.
- If you cancel within the allowed time, you may receive a full or partial refund, depending on the policy.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may be non-refundable.
7. Reviews and Content
- Users may leave reviews after completed appointments.
- Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on genuine experiences.
- We reserve the right to remove reviews that are offensive, misleading, or violate these Terms.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person
- Upload viruses or attempt to interfere with the Platform
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
- Harass or abuse other users
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform (including branding, text, images, and software) belongs to Mojan or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
- The quality or outcome of services provided by beauticians
- Missed appointments, payment disputes, or user conduct
- Any indirect or consequential damages
Use of the Platform is at your own risk. We provide the service “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or behave inappropriately. You may also delete your account at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
