Can I book more than one service at a time?

At the moment, bookings are made one service at a time. If you’d like to book multiple services (e.g., hair and nails), you’ll need to complete each booking separately. 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a booking?

You can cancel or reschedule directly from your Mojan account dashboard. Each beautician has their own cancellation policy, so please check the listing for specific terms before making changes.

How do I contact a beautician directly?

You can contact a beautician directly through any links they provide on their listing or profiles; such as a website, Instagram, or contact number.
Alternatively, you can send them a private message securely through Mojan by clicking “Contact Beautician” on their profile.

What happens if a beautician doesn’t show up?

We’re so sorry if that ever happens. Please report the issue through your booking dashboard, and we’ll help mediate or refund if necessary. Our goal is safety, fairness, and accountability on both sides.

How are booking times confirmed?

Some listings allow instant booking, while others require confirmation. You’ll get a notification via email and your Mojan dashboard once the beautician accepts your request.

Can I leave a review after my appointment?  

Yes! Once your appointment is complete, you’ll be invited to leave a review. Your feedback helps others book with confidence and helps beauticians grow.


 Beauticians

How do I become a verified Mojan beautician?

Sign up and create your first listing. We review every new listing for quality and safety. Some beauticians may be marked as “Verified” based on additional checks or community reputation.

What does “external platform” mean on a listing?

It means that bookings aren’t made directly through Mojan. Instead, you’ll be redirected to the beautician’s own website or social media booking page. We still vet these listings to ensure quality.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

This depends on the beautician’s policy. Some are happy for you to bring a friend or child; others prefer solo sessions for focus and space. Always message them beforehand if you’re unsure.

How do I know if a beautician accepts walk-ins?

Look for “walk-ins accepted” in the listing or tags. If it’s not mentioned, assume bookings are required. You can always send a message to ask.


Payments & Fees

What payment methods do you accept?

Mojan accepts applepay & Gpay, debit/credit cards for bookings made directly on the platform. If you’re redirected to an external platform, payment methods will depend on that beautician’s setup.

Are payments held until the appointment is complete?

No, Mojan holds payments safely and only releases them after processing is completed and payout requested.

Are deposits refundable?

That depends on the beautician’s cancellation policy. Always check the listing before booking to avoid surprises.

What are the service or platform fees?

For clients, Mojan is free. For beauticians, Mojan is also free excluding standard transaction processing fees subject to payment method.

Why doesn’t the amount on my dashboard match my final payout?

The balance shown on your dashboard reflects the total amount a client paid, before any payment processing fees are deducted.

We use a secure payment system to handle all transactions, and fees are automatically subtracted before funds reach your payout balance. These fees vary depending on how the client pays (e.g. debit card, credit card, mobile wallet).

Your dashboard shows the gross amount (what the client paid), not the net amount (what you’ll receive after fees).

How are fees calculated?

Fees usually range between 1.5% and 3.5%, depending on the client’s payment method. We do not take any commission on top of this unless clearly stated.

When will funds show in my dashboard?

Payments usually appear in your dashboard within 1–2 business days after a booking is made and successfully processed.

How do I request a payout?

You can request a payout from your Mojan dashboard. We currently process payouts manually, so please allow 2–3 business days for the funds to reach your bank account after requesting.

 Tech & Mobile

Is there a Mojan mobile app?

Not yet, but Mojan is fully mobile-optimized! You can use it easily in any browser and/or add to home-screen.

How do I save Mojan to my phone like an app?

If you’re using Safari or Chrome on your phone, tap the “Share” or menu icon, then select “Add to Home Screen.” Mojan will behave just like an app from your phone.

Do I need to download anything to use Mojan?

Nope. Everything works directly from your browser, no downloads or updates needed.

Will I get reminders for my appointment?

Yes! We’ll send you booking confirmations and reminders via email. SMS reminders may be added soon.

Is Mojan available in my country?

Mojan is launching country by country. If you don’t see listings near you yet, stay tuned, or reach out if you want to help us bring Mojan to your city.

What makes Mojan different from other platforms?

We’re more than a booking system. We’re a movement. Mojan believes beauty is love, and love should be free. That’s why we donate platform profits to community beauty and wellness programs.

Is Mojan free to use?

Yes, for clients, browsing and creating an account is 100% free. Beauticians only pay a small standard transaction processing fee if using Mojan for bookings.
